Vredendal Flying Club Fly In

Dusted off my trike and headed up to Vredendal for their annual fly in.

Getting out off Cape Town Saturday morning was a little interesting, loads of scattered clouds around with the odd bit of fog along the coast. So decided to give it a chance to burn off and only took off at around 10:00.

Routed from Fisantekraal to Piketberg and then was kindly accommodated by Langebaan ATC and headed towards the coast just south of Elandsbaai and for some low level flying up to Lamberts Bay, and landed fo… Continue

Flying the Grey

Thanks Mark!

I don't own an aircraft at the moment as I've just decided to come back over to microlights from a little spell flying Cessnas, although I did own a share in a Quik 912S a couple of years ago.

I was flying a Quik GT450 in the photos taken in France which belonged to the club I was with at the time. I hope to get checked out on a Thruster Sprint in the next few weeks or so, so will probably be flying that for a while.

Cheers!

Mark, Thanks for the invite to the Club meeting. Had a good evening and was pleased to meet you face-to-face. Going to start looking for a microlight and look forward to flying with you and your mates - may even need a space in you hangar! :)

Hey Mark, Thanks for the posting. I posted the video since you asked what I was flying..:>) Since being back in Florida I only had one chance to fly. We are having some cold and windy weather the past few weeks. This usually doesn't last long so I hope to get in the air this weekend. Cheers
