Wilderness Flying

A light berg wind today. Seems the same for tom. Hopefully after lunch it will have subsided so we can fly. We are starting to get those classic winter flying days - warm and stable! This afternoon is going to be like that. :-) Gerrie will join on the powered hang glider. He loves that little machine - me too! It is such a joy! The easiest, lightest flying machine. Trike pilots take note! ;-)

I am back!

Doc says I am good to go! It has been a long 8 monthys but I am finally free of this neck brace. (The pillow has never felt this good! ;-) Bit of physio and I am back in the driving seat, er, flying seat... :-)

Me, right now...

Well this is a first. I have never written a blog. But I can tell you I am sure there is no one else out there that will top what I have to say. At the moment I eat dream and sleep flying. That is all I can do... In January I did the unmentionable and broke my neck in a flying accident. I should have been dead but by the grace of God I am not. Instead I am at home recovering. Lots of down time. Lots of DVD's.... Lots of dreaming... But soon I will be back!

Yep, I know the trails. I had a friend from SA who raced the series. The first visit was not enough, as I have been back three times. I am very lucky to be able to travel and enjoy all the outdoor sports. My brother is a pilot and I think is planning a trip to SA this Fall, you should hook-up with him!

For the last three years I have been able to ride 5 days a week. BTW, and I am also an avid traveler as I just got back from SA, Malawi, and Zambia!
