Im a hardcore ultralight pilot converted to sport pilot and very much into the lighter side of aviation and will always be. I think the low and slow form of aviation is the right balance when you and machine are in balance between heaven and earth where you can experience and sense the beauties of both.
I now have my third bird and it is my second CGS Aviation Hawk. I do have a strong preference for my Hawks. As the ole saying goes" It's hard to be humble when you own a Hawk!"

Just to let you know John, I'm not airborne just yet. I just decided to upload a picture of a completed and flying Pterodactyl so people could see how it looks. Yes, it is Steve that's in the picture. It's a small world after all.
Interesting you know my part of the world at McQuire. I always got to their freq when I launch so I know where they're at!
I am just starting to become a "real" pilot on cross countries and piloting skills for navigation. I see your using my Magellan 315 for GPS. A friend turned me on too them and I think they are perfect for our type of flying. Just ordered my first magnetic compass as I have had several instances of the GPS system jamming up on me and I had to fly by dead reckoning on a hazy day.. it was interesting to say the least! You would think you couldn't get lost flying in NJ but I would have stumbled into the Warren Grove ( NJ24) bombing range R-5002C if I hadn't a sectional and familar with the land marks like the Mullica River!
