Hi Thomas! What do you like Verner engine? I Have Verner VM-133MK on my trike too and I LOVE it! Low fuel compsumption, qiute big power. I was a trouble with oil cooler, but now I have new oil cooler and all is beautiful!

- Normal cruise is 60Mph, maximum cruising speed according to the manual is 90Mph, but I've used that speed only in calm air and quite in a hurry to get somewhere... flying the aeros2 trike at that speed, it becomes somehow unstable...
I've heard about a 12.5meter ProfiTL but haven't had any news about it, probably mailing some distributor or Ukraine would solve the mistery... some fast wings which I've been told are quite good also are the gibbo gear and the reflex 11: http://www.evolutiontrikes.com/wings.htm

I really love aeros, They fly so smooth, great engineering, and excellent performance... I also soloed with an aeros wing, a stream, loved that also.
I've heard about a future 12 meter Profi-TL, but there are no news in the aeros page... Don't now where I got that info... At least the 14,5 Profi-TL and BMW combination is as good as you can go, at least from aeros. I've made with some buddies great 1000 or so km trips with no problem whatsoever. I've made upto 1000km a day in 2 stops, you get a really great range with the 1150cm3 BMW, 8/10 litres an hour...
You really get the difference going from a north wing to an aeros, I did my trike course on a North Wing 17meter m-pulse, then flew the Stream, although the last one is a little faster, I enjoyed flying more the Stream....
Hows the Verner going?
My BMW has over 200 hours, and it's nearly free of maintenance, as you might expect. Just the regular spark plugs, oil, oil filters and it works great. It's a quite realiable engine, at least that is how a feel it, compared with rotax's 912... cheers
wow ! those are some great looking aeros trikes ! I've always been a aeros fan, I have a still 17, when I first soloed....
how do you guys like those BMW engines? I just bought a (used) verner engine. its alot like the BMW, (boxer type, twin cylinder, 80hp, 5,500rpm range).
hey, has anyone heard of a new profi TL--"12 metter". I might just buy one. right now I have a north wing GT-4, nice wing,(65mph max). but I miss my aeros !
