some info from Spencer which I found from his website link on his homepage which sheds some light on trikepilot.com,
Hi Gang, and welcome to this TEMPORARY holding page for Trikepilot Social.
The Long story will be forthcoming, but the short story is this...
The hosting platform on which Hairless Dog Productions moved Trikepilot to back in 2007
is Named NING. Last Friday, Ning had an issue with a company named WidgetLaboratory. For some reason, Ning's attorneys felt that they had a right to turn off Trikepilot.com in order to punish Spencer Forman personally (the CEO of WidgetLaboratory), without any thought to the fact that Trikepilot.com is a property owned by Hairless Dog Productions, an entity that has nothing to do with WidgetLaboratory.
Rather than continue to leave all of you hanging and waiting, we wanted to finally put something up to let you know that Trikepilot is NOT dead, never was, and that NING shall be held accountable for the harm and damages that they have caused by taking Trikepilot hostage for a completely unrelated matter.
We will be creating a new home for Trikepilot.com that is far away from Ning and in a very safe environment. In the meantime, Hairless Dog Productions has turned this matter over to its attorneys to pursue legal remedies against NING for their intentional and punitive conduct against a completely innocent party.
Hi Tom!
I guess you've read Ning pulled the plug on Spencer and our Trike Pilot hangout. Spencer is doing everything to come back with a better site soon.
If you learn to fly hang gliders would you be training on aero-tow equipment, or start with foot launch instruction?
I don't know what the favorite glider for starting out, is available in France.
I have flown the Aeros Target and the Wills Wing Falcon.
Both are semi single surface wings with very docile mush/stall characteristics, relatively light weight, and easy to fly for fun.
Have a good one!
Weather crap here also thinking of buying a set of golf clubs (only joking). Have only got about 20 hours in this year but on hol shortly so going to pray for decent weather. Googled trikepilot and it looks like its no longer available and the domain name is up for sale. See you left a message for Spencer hopefully he will shed some light on what is going on. Have you got your licence yet ?
