Busy fun day today, up at sunrise for a flight around the Island but the weather did not play ball.

We did not let that bother us and we really lived this day to the Max. We got to scuba under the blue, did a shallow dive to about five meters below the blue or should I say in the blue and I was truly amazed at the abundance of fish and the pristine condition of the reef. Great to see that somewhere in the world marine life still thrives...

We then headed out for a once in a life time horse ride up the Bazaruto dunes, they tower up about 300 to 400 feet in places and we got to descend vertically down the dune on horse back at about a 75 degree incline with the horse almost waste deep in the sand. I don´t think there is anywhere else in the world that you are able to do this as a tourist...

If that´s not all we ended the day off with some dune boarding at sunset. A fun but scary experience....
Big day ahead of us in the morning leaving the island and heading for Buzi.
Due to bad road conditions Mark is going to be flying to meet us in Pemba, oddly enough the only way to do this is to fly back to Johannesburg, then fly airlink to Dares Salaam and then back down to Pemba ....go figure...
