Spent the last two days flying from sunrise to sunset with maintenance in the evenings.

Flew over the Zambezi River delta which is 600 km wide with not one road to the coast and
landed at Lumbo in the almost dark and are currently busy preparing for our flight to Ibo in the morning.

Miles and Miles of undeveloped country with the relics of large palm tree plantations that stretch all the
way to the horizon with subsistance farmers and fishermen that must seldom if ever hear from or venture
into the outside world.

The head gear Tjeerd and I are wearing is makeshift mosquito protection due to the heavy malaria in the country.

Sometimes we were just too buggered to post on the blog.Rise early and do maintenance until late. When there is no maintenance we check all the equipment for wear and tear or signs of possible trouble brewing. No help here if things go wrong, so it is best to check and double check everything all the time.
