Today was a magical moment on our journey. The day started with a swim in the warm quirimba sea with a tropical squal breaking overhead. The heavens opened up with a hard downpour as if a giant bucket of warm water had been poured over us.No sooner had the clouds disappeared when the tropical heat returned. We decided that it was time to escape the heat by doing a dive.Steve recommended that we should do his secret wall dive. The wall of coral starts at 13m and drops off to 1300m.Mark and I were very excited to attempt our very first wall dive. So we kitted up and joined Pieter and Steve for an unbelievable experience of a lifetime. It was mystical and ghostly to cruise along the wall of coral at 22m and look down into the dark unknown. In the afternoon we decided to make use of the breeze and duly hijacked the island Hobie 16 for a sail to quissanga island. It was a very pleasant experience.Princess Di packed us a picnic basket for us to enjoy on the uninhabited island. It was very therapeutic to skim the water on the back of the island breeze. We claimed Quissanga island in the name of Sabrina (Marks daughter) and duly left our beacon by planting a flag in her honour. When leaving, the wind had come up straight from Medjumbe island. We had to tack and tack and tack long legs to get back.We returned to what we had begun regarding as home as the sun was setting. What a magical day.We are very sad to say farewell to our new friends we have made here and will be setting off to Matemo Island in the morning.
